Are you serious?
People place their personal lives on those idiotic websites so anyone including bosses, stalkers, rapists, the police, or anyone else including the the government can easily keep track of them.

If an agency has an agenda that they want to advertise it is a good resource. It also can come across as being more grass roots.

If you post negative comments about Obama,they can put you on the" domestic terrorist" list .
