The federal goverment will subject both Charcoal and Propane to Cap and Trade taxation. Propane is a fossil fuel and both emit CO2 when burned.

It will probably add a fraction of a penny to the gallon price of propane. Maybe 1/20th of a cent per burger.

My wife is from the Philippines so we use Charcoal~~it is more work but the fire is hot and the food taste better

Use propane. The main culprit of greenhouse gases is burning fossil fuels, like coal.

Just use propane.
