I used to never be interested in twitter but now I kinda am. So should i join twitter to follow celebrities or just forget about it?

@Medical Education: You can use TwitLonger, and set your settings to private if you only want a small group to see your tweets.

You can have an account on both the sites. Actually Twitter is not much useful if you are an ordinary person. All of your tweets are either public or private. You cannot share your tweets with a small number of friends, etc. So, it is suitable for companies and great personalities. One more thing, you can type just 140 words per tweet. Which means you are supposed just to share some link, like, "Check out my vacation photos here <link>". But you cannot discuss things or express your views in 140 words.
Facebook on the other hand is a giant that has a thousand other features additional to those provided by Twitter. It is useful for you wether you are a teen or an old man. Wether you run a company or are a public personality, etc. In Facebook, you can create groups to share things with a particular group of people only.

Twitter is a waste of time there is nuthing to do on it. Facebook is way better

You should get a twitter account. Just make sure that it is secure. I enjoy Twitter more than Facebook because it is easy to see what people are up to. I follow most of my favorite celebrities and read tutorials to get more followers. It can become addictive for some people though.
