yahoo answers is for getting answers to your questions.
It's not for making announcements in the guise of a question, people will flag it and get the question removed, a few times and your account is banned.

You can help people out and still promote your business. Like myself I like to promote my Social Media Marketing business.
I like to answer peoples questions on how to market with Facebook, You-Tube, and Twitter. I do this because I like to help out and also if they want to learn more they can check our my website.
Yahoo answers is a creative way to advertise your business.
