A friend is following someone on twitter, who they say they swear they did not click their follow button, so Im wondering if this was possible, like spam?
So for example, the things that say "is this you" and lead to you spam. Or anything like that, if you accidentally click a pop up, is it possible to be linked to twitter and have someone follow another person without them knowing?

There is no possibility to follow a person on twitter if someone didn't click follow button. Might be someone else who clicked the follow button.
