Wild Blue vs Hughes satellite update? - Gus - 11-27-2012 06:44 AM

The only yahoo answers discussion that I could find on Wild Blue vs. Hughes for satellite internet is 3 years old. I'm deciding which one to get and was wondering if some people can chime in with some more recent feedback. Thanks in advance.

You betcha! Get WildBlue High-speed Satellite Internet!!
I've been an Installer and Authorized Dealer of both brands since 2005 and I take down Hughes units every week!! Their Support Service is in India and crummy!! Their Billing is terrible.
WildBlue is GREAT!! In five years I have never had a customer 'over billed' with WildBlue. Not so with Hughes!! My own daughter was overbilled and never got her money back! She prepaid for a year and before the year was up, Hughes started tapping her credit card.
WildBlue's customer satisfaction is about 96% ...Far superior to Hughes in every way!! PLUS ViaSat just purchased WildBlue and will be increasing the customers speeds in early 2011. Increases that will allow Voice over IP!! Can't wait for the new satellite to go up!!
Contact me if you'd like to place an order - depending on your location, I might just be your installer!
Plus for each person you refer (who also installs WB) you'll get $25 off your bill and they'll get $25 off theirs (no limit!!)
Also be sure to read the Hughes FAP Policy and talk to some of their old customers who have been FAPPED or had their downloads time-out!! WildBlue also has a FAP (Fair Access Policy) but it is on a 30 day rolling period.
As you can probably tell - I'm WildBlue's Biggest Cheerleader!! Their 1# in my book!!

Best of luck in your choosing!
