When you log into some website using facebook, twitter, google, whatever. Instead of making a new username / password for that site.

WHY DOES NOONE USE GOOGLE?

Social login or social sign-on refers to authentication with social network accounts i.e. a user can log in with their social accounts like Facebook usernames/passwords, Gmail, Twitter, Yahoo, etc. So in nutshell, its log in via social account instead of creating a new usernames/passwords.

1000s of websites are integrating social login and there are softwares available as well. For example - LoginRadius (http://www.loginradius.com) that can be used to integrate social login on any website and they claim you need not to know any programming skills for integration.
