Marketing is a fast-moving management discipline. Witness the rise and development of social media, digital marketing and ground-moving changes in media consumption across the world recently. As such, it is increasingly important for marketers both to have a good marketing qualification and also be fully up-to-date on the latest marketing trends.
Accordingly, all of the industry disciplines you mention would be looking for some level of marketing specialization in either the education or the experience of candidates entertained for marketing positions in their companies.
