No, no normal people can get more followers. you must have something unique or something extraordinary to which you can tweet continuously to get more followers. Otherwise you can buy fake followers.

They follow a simple trick, they actively take part there. My advice is: find out the people having similar characteristics; follow them, some of them will follow you back for sure.
