business planning and business development, whats the difference : I have a great idea for on online social network (sort of) site that will im sure end up a house hold name almost as good as myspace and facebook, but is a completely difference sort of site. I need someone to help me find investors so would I use someone in business planning or business development, whats the difference, I know aobut all the planning but I need to get the investors, though it will not be a high dollar investment like most, it will have a very quick breakeven time and very quickly will be creating revenue and zero debt,

Planning - Before
What you need to do to get started.
Some of the things you have already mentioned such as finding investor, source of funds, resources to actually to do work for you, what is going to cost to get started
Make 1 year, 5 year , 10 year project - your goals
Development - After business is up and running.
Increasing customer base, sales, revenue etc
