well i would definitely look at the new business trends. Being green is definitely a way to entice new customers and also impress old ones. Community development also helps, people want to know what you are doing to help the community around you so make sure you know, doing good deeds can literally pay off in the long run. Also having a facebook page seems to be the next big thing so customers get constant positive updates of the goings on in your company.
In the end though its all about customer service. resolving any customer service issues quickly and making sure that your customer doesn't dread asking you questions is the way to go. And don't forget, happy employees give better customer service and get their jobs done better and faster. Pay raises! Lol, but honestly customer services improves when your employees have the most information possible and can do their jobs efficiently.
