Twitter Direct Messages? - Wondering - 10-03-2012 11:45 AM
I have my phone set up where I can update twitter from my phone...I was wondering if I can direct message someone on twitter (like reply to a specific friend) instead of updating for all of my followers to read?

Just start the message with: "d theirTwitterName "

Yes, you can and this is how you do it:
When you are updating you put this to direct message: d username
Where it says username is where you put the person you want to message username. Then after that you put the message you want to send them.
So basically, what you do is put: d, then their username then the message.
