Google the persons name followed by twitter. If they have a page a result is that direct site

Have a username related to them and make your icon a picture of them.

No you don't have to do that. I have a few celebrities following me and my icon and name is me. What I did is tweet them. I've tweeted them over and over again. You have to look for those that follow fans back. Some celebrities doesn't even follow their fans back or even use Twitter. And make sure you're tweeting and following verified Twitters account (blue check marks) and not the fake ones.
