Well, Philly was the first capitol of this country.....ben franklin and alot of the other founding fathers lived there. ......sounds pretty important to me

also, the U.S. Department of Commerce Office of Travel and Tourism Industries announced that the city of Philadelphia has made a record-breaking feat of 710,000 international visitors in 2008. a large increase of 29% from the previous year, which places Philadelphia as the 11th most visited city in the United States.
