Within Business to Business Marketing are Trade shows part of public relations? - elephant - 11-27-2012 06:53 AM - Kristin Hovde - 11-27-2012 07:01 AM I do think trade shows are part of public relations. They enable you to meet hundreds of possible customers and partners face-to-face. It's especially effective if you are a brand new business needing to get your company's name out there. Weeks prior to the event, increase traffic to your trade show booth by doing the following: 1. Use social media to reach a bigger audience. 2. Send out a press release that includes the name and location of the event as well as your booth number. 3. Take out an ad in your local newspaper or a commercial spot on your local television channel. Trade shows are an investment that will more than pay for itself. Hope this helps! |
