Cameron stunt yesterday, what does being gay have to do with being a paedophile? He said he didn't want to start a gay witch hunt, so in effect he was saying gay men equals paedophile. What a strange thing to say.

I think it hints at the fact cameron is a lot better briefed than the public, over the wrexham child abuse scandal.

I doubt Phillip Schofield thinks all gay men are pedophiles. I think you are either being overly sensitive or just trying to twist his words. Stop being a douche.

I agree, I think he looked at the names on the list, from all parties and was mentally ticking them off, most of them are his "chums" too, I think...
Ohhh, the benefits of a public school education, where the term "Take it like a man" actually means something...

I thought that perhaps Cameron already knew whose names were on the list and knew that one or more of them are gay.

it's probably what he believes, he didn't pause to think before he said it, so clearly it's a long held belief of his. That and of course he was anxious to deflect attention from his pals, so bringing gays into the equation was meant to distract the rest of us 'plebs'

He wasn't saying gays are paedophiles.
He was simply expressing his anger at some of the ridiculous remarks on Twitter linking homosexuality to paedophila.
There's been some idiots on Twitter basically accusing people of be a paedophile simply because they are gay and David Cameron was simply warning that there is a danger that all this hysteria could lead to an online witch hunt of anyone who is gay which in turn could lead to entirely innocent people being accused without evidence simply because of their sexuality.
