Yes, yes and yes. But then again, I'm a fossil too.
I also recall Leif Garett, K.C. and The Sunshine Band, The Go-Gos, and a bunch of snot-nosed kids called The Jackson Five. Back when they were SUPPOSED to sound like that.
Word of advice: Old celebrities never go away, they just grow older and weird-looking as they hog more of the camera. Case in Point: Britney Spears. Did she ever fully grow her hair back, or does she think the Towering Forehead Look is a thing?
