how do you send personal messages to people in twitter? - ryan g - 11-27-2012 06:58 AM - BodyByChocolates - 11-27-2012 07:06 AM First the people have to be following you to do direct messages also known as DM's. With that said... Directly from Twitter? You have 4 options on the right panel which are currently listed as: * HOME * USER NAME (aka @BodyByChocolate * DIRECT MESSAGES * FAVORITES Select "Direct Messages" If U see a post from the person that you want to DM put your mouse over the right side of their post and you will see 2 icons appear. * A circular reply arrow * A trash can Select the circular arrow and you will notice that their name appears in the drop down box at the top. You can now type a message to them directly that no one else will see. NOTE: If you see no current item that is from the person you want to DM then you can drop down the list above and choose their name from that list in-order to write your private message. NOTE: You can also type "D @UserName" in the text box and do the same thing. That would look like this "D @BodyByChocolate". This can be done from Twitter directly or from most any Twitter application like TweetDeck. Hope that helps The Body By Chocolates Man TWITTER: @Body By Chocolate WEBSITE: http://bodybychocolates.com/xo/gs/guy.htm |
