I've been talking to this guy for a while but hes been gone (military) for a few months. We aren't "official" or anything but I haven't talked to him in almost a month (he said he had bad service at one point...but he updated his twitter from his phone) and he comes home today...we had plans for the day he came back but I haven't heard from him...should I just assume we aren't talking anymore?

yes its best to assume you aren't talking anymore especially if you two weren't official.
