I'm wondering how my friends use the twitter follower adder thingy without even increasing your 'following' count. i tried to use it for the couple of times but my 'following' count still increases. Please, i really need a help. Good answers will we appreciated.

Are you talking about a "fake" twitter counter widget?, if so, it's simply an image with a number on it.
