i heard about a link & the thing is the links have you posting weird things on your updates. how can i get myself some new followers!?

The point of twitter is to interact with others and follow for info. Start following ppl/celebs/news etc and go from there. And your 2 cents and have conversations. The followers will come to you.

It's Free, And You Don't Have To Follow Anyone Else. Just List Yourself, And Some Of Your Interests If You Want, And Let Others Follow You. (:

It is very straight forward:
1 - Follow @TeamAutoFollow - To get you in the list (see next)
2 - Follow the team - (see the list at http://teamautofollow.com/ – follow as many as you would like, we all follow back)
For extra followers:
- Include #TeamAutoFollow in your post (as often as possible)
- Include #TeamAutoFollow in your Bio (You can do this at the end of it, people are more prompt to follow when they know that you will follow back)
- RT and follow @TeamAutoFollow Tweets (a little help once in awhile is appreciated)
- Comeback everyday for a #ShoutOut
