I would say, maybe ask a friend to give you her number, try that...
Or have a friend try to give her their number and then it's actually yours :3

Well, you need to have somewhat of a friendship or know eachoother on a first name basis, then ask. it will be less freaky if she knows you. And twitter would help

Ask her. Seriously, girls like guys with confidence so get some. Twitter maybe. but that's kinda childish. I would only go that route if you don't get to see or talk to her in person a lot. Just talk with her about things you have in common and then be like maybe I can call/text you sometime and we can go to the .... If she hesitates or is like no, she's not interested like that. Move on to the next girl.
