Having clicked the facebook like button an a website by mistake I now want to remove it. I don;t want to be associated with this website! How is this done, the 'like' does not show up in 'My Profile'.

Find that button from where you clicked like, and it should say unlike. Otherwise if you're still on the old Facebook layout, revert to the new timeline and the like should show up there, then you can choose to unlike it from there.

go to the facebook fanpage , and click unlike .

It's probably in your likes, just open the page once you find it head up to the upper right configuration button and unlike it. I believe this should work.

1. First log in to your account.
2. Go to the fan page you want to delete.
3. Then click edit page on the left sidebar under the fan page image.
4. Then go to manage permissions at the top of the list on the left
5. Click the option highlighted in blue "permanently delete page"
