Why was actor Wil Wheaton in exile for 20 years in the first place? - Black - 12-05-2012 10:41 PM

Just wondering because I don't know and he won't answer that question on twitter. So maybe someone out here knows and can answer it to expunge my curiosity.
He has a web site and blog called (Wil Wheaton in EXILE). And... he has NOT worked steadily as an actor in the last 20 years, he just started acting again a few years ago. He said in an interview many years ago, not long after ST-TNG that his THEN agent was trashing his acting career, then he disappeared from acting for around 2 decades then showed up again (in Acting) a few years ago. He did have writing (HisBooks) i.e. "Don't be a dick" etc and voice over work over that 20 year period but NOT ACTING as far as I know. It's like he was banned from HollyWeird or something. Just wondering if he peed on some directors shoes or something like that. LOL?
Ok read the page you sent but why did he have a blog called "Will Wheaton in EXILE?" (ForYears) and what exactly did that mean? EXILE means banished by them or himself. Did he banish himself? It makes no sense and as near as I can tell, he will NOT answer any questions about that. That's why my curiosity lights & switches are all a flashing. *Grins* Oh well I"ll see if anyone else can shed some light on that. Because he sure is MUM about what EXILE means to himself.
One more side not. I never seen him in 20 years cause I never watched or heard of any of the work he did until he showed up in Leverage, BigBangTheory and Eureka. I guess they were the only entertainment he did that noticed since ST-TNG. Ok Done. *Grins*

Erm, he wasn't. He has been working steadily since the early 80s.
