Is it true that by liking or sharing photos on Facebook you can make money? - - 12-06-2012 03:32 AM

I am irritated about a lot of Facebook users requesting me to like or share their Photoshopped photos. Somebody told me that for every instance that photo is shared, a certain amount of money is rewarded to the user. How true is this?

No that is not true.

Unfortunately, it's not.

We all see tons all the time. "Share are cure cancer!" "Like and donate to the cause!" But, really, it's usually just a publicity stunt for people to see how many shares/likes it can get or to promote their page.

Now, there are some real people, I'm sure, who are bizillionaires and are willing to donate for every like it gets. But if you were to post a photo, you wouldn't get any money.

If only!

Sounds like this was their way of getting you to just simply "like" their posts, nothing more. Nobody earns money from their posts being liked and/or shared. If that were the case, I'm sure there'd a bunch of young, random millionaires popping up around the world.

If you don't want to "like" or share someone's material, then just don't do it *shrugs* I know how this goes. It's pretty annoying. As you keep NOT doing what they want you to do, they'll eventually get the point and stop bugging you about it.

That is irritating and it is also not at all true. This is nothing but a big chain letter scam designed to get users replicating copies and copies of the same stupid pictures all over FB, and there is no money to be had. That's just a lie playing on greed and laziness, where people are told they can make money by doing nothing but being pests. If sharing and liking really did result in money-making, there'd be a lot of people getting rich, soon followed by the originators of these scams begging for people to stop the likes and shares, because it would cost the scammers themselves a lot of money.

Also, to make money, some information has to be given out, otherwise, how is the originator of the picture going to know where to send the payments?

People really should know better than fall for this hoax any more.
