My friend and i made a facebook page for spider-man fans and we posted a status saying that if we got 3000 likes we would post the full movie of spider-man 1, if we got 6000 likes, spider-man 2, and 9000, spider-man three. Is that legal? If not tell me now because I don't want to get into trouble with the law, or even banned from facebook.

nope its illegal do it and you will be sued for a minimum of 3million $

I see people do it all the time.. they always leave a disclaimer stating that its only up for the fans who love the movie and all credit goes to the following companies.. I dont know if that does any good though.. I was thinking channels like fuse and mtv2 have to pay artists for showing their vids. But we share the vids everday through YouTube.. so maybe of you show it through parts individually, and leave a disclaimer saying it has something to do specific with the scene being showed and give credit to the director, producer, marketing group and all companies also state you don't wish to gain financial profit in anyway. This is just what I see done all the time.

No it is copyrighted. If you were the person who makes that movie, you would make no money off that movie because of one person who illegally posted it on facebook. You can watch movies on youtube, but you still have to pay, which that person who made the movie would still make money. You need to think more about copyrighted infringement (no offense).
