Hi if you have a fan page, let's say about art and you post other peoples art to promote the profession of art but you do not ask their permission is it legal or not and does it violate Facebook rules or not?

This forms the basis of a lot of Facebook fan pages, some of which are incredible succesful but I want to know can Facebook just de-activate your account based on this use.

it is illgial

most of the pictures you find.. are copyrighted

all pictures have a copy right... it belongs to the owner.. and you might have to pay a fine.

it might violate facebooks TOS yes.

all that cool art work you see on the internet.. or the pictures off google images?.. its all copy right protected.. and if you use them.. its illigla.. and you can be sued or fined,

you need to find pictures you allowed to use... like from wikkimeida.. and you must check to see if you have permisstion to use it
