I have only had my twitter account for a while, but I do want a follower or two. How do you get a follower? Give me safe tips, places of twitter to go to, or something. BTW nobody I know wants to use or does use twitter.

BEWARE: Not all followers are created equal.
You certainly can get thousands and thousands of followers quite quickly. You can also have your Twitter account shut down in a heartbeat.
That's why you want to build steady instead of fast.

the whole idea of getting followers is when you have interesting tweets and people wanna follow you to get more interesting updates. Or, it could also be because he/she knows you and wants to get updates on your recent activities.
So just tweet, and you'll get followers soon. Search for old friends or anyone via email, you may be able to find a friend or two on twitter and you can follow them to get their updates!
