How do you write this correctly in Korean? - EmmaB - 12-08-2012 02:09 PM

I have a foreign exchange student who just went back to SK not that long ago and I am starting a photo album for her on FaceBook. I obviously do not trust Google translate so that is out of question. Her name in Ji-Hyun (지현)

I want to say things like:
1) It is snowing!
2) Emma loves Ji-Hyun
3) Photos for you
4) I miss you

AND MANY MORE! Please what ever you think would be fun to say! I live in North Dakota if that helps with any ideas. PLEASE write in Korean letter (Hangul) That will help a lot! Thank You!

Ahhh.. I'm sorry i only know two of them. I know the second one but i'm not sure if it's the proper or natural way of saying it so i'm not comfortable teaching them to you. :'( But anyway here's the two translation:

1. It’s snowing. 눈이 와요 (Noon-ee wayo)

4.I miss you- 보고 싶어요 (Bogo shi peo yo)
This one is in formal form. removing the ìš” (yo) makes it informal and you can use it with your friends or anyone else who is younger than you.

You can also try and say it in a CUTE informal way such as:
보 고 싶당 (bo-go ship-dang)
보고 싶어용 (bo-go shi-po-yong )

And if you want to learn more Korean you can scroll down to these websites:

If you want to learn everything from the start go to this website. They will teach you literally everything you need to know. we're talking about grammars and stuff in here so it requires patience. ^^

Kimbap noona teaches you in fun and colorful pictures! It would require patience to scroll down thru her blog but everything is worth it.

I mostly recommend this one for your since i don't think you're into learning the grammars and stuff and more into the This one's pretty organised, from slangs to formal phrases.

Have fun and i hope you find what you're looking for! ^^

It is snowing -
눈이 내리고 있다(nun-i naeligo issda)
Emma loves Ji-Hyun
For that I'm not so sure but you can say it another way as 'I love you Ji-Hyun'
You can use 사랑해요 지현언니(Saranghaeyo JiHyun unni) if she's older than you
or just 사랑해요 지현(Saranghaeyo Ji-Hyun) if she's younger.
For 3rd one,I'm not sure about that
For I miss you, there are many ways to say that
But since I assume that you two are close, you can say it in the informal way, which is
보고 싶어(Bogoshipeo)

Erm fun things to say?
Maybe you can say 좋다?(Johda)?
It means 'Do you like it' or 'Is it good'

I hope this helps ^^
