Why do people expect prettier girls to have more morals? - Youngshiva52 - 12-09-2012 04:52 AM

I'm asking this cause often times when I see some pretty girl post a slutty pic on facebook someone will write "your too beautiful to be dressing like that, respect yourself", or any other situation where she is degrading herself. Does this imply that the not so attractive girls are the ones that people expect to degrade themselves for attention?

They don't. Even the pretty ones are sluts

No
It's just a nice way of saying "quit dressing like a ho"

Pretty much. Society and everyone else expects that ALL beautiful people are confident in themselves. But, not every skinny boned, beautiful woman, is confident. They still crave attention too, and then they take slutty pictures. Then girls who aren't as beautiful, might have all the confidence in the world and don't need slutty pictures to feel pretty.

I know right? People tell me " your to beautiful to be unemployed"

Human psychology.
We are like biologically programmed to think better of those whom society find "attractive".
Sucks right?

Because men think that screwing
a less pretty girl is doing her a favor...
and she should be honoured

Well, no matter what as humans grow older they seem to have their mind in the gutter as opposed to when they were small children. Simply look at all the "rate me" questions in this section alone, advertisement with products and clothing, the media of who wore it best, plastic surgery, etc. I don't see too many 5 year olds worrying themselves sick over these things, but as a child grows older they will observe adults that do judge others based off of appearance whether or not they find a person attractive.

As far as what your claiming yes, I've seen people who will tell a beautiful person that they don't need to dress in such a manner but I've also seen people ask if heavier individuals should be allowed to wear tight clothing. It's no secret that advertising makes money off of sex and sex appeal, for the most part they are directing their focus on those that have the capability to purchase items. Since that would mostly be adults or those above the age of 13 then the subject of mild sexual appeal is thrown in the consumers face.

Actually, the sane ones (like ME) actually expect pretty girls and average ones to have more morals. If the girl is not wearing make-up but looks pretty average, that's not ugly. We expect SANE PEOPLE expect this because we think pretty girls should have higher morals because they're only pretty when they aren't wearing makeup. I mean have you seen lady gaga without makeup? I guess you could say...

SHE WAS BORN THIS WAY. YEEEEEEEAAAH!!!!
