I am looking for a good chat site to use as ukchatterbox seems to be down, it has been for a few days now, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of some good sites I can use

In my opinion the best UK chat site is http://www.ukchat.com as it has a lot of features. It is a social networking site as well as a chat site, similar to facebook with chat rooms that you can log in to using your profile as well, the sign up is easy so do not let that put you off.
In terms of features it has more than I could list, you can upload photos for example and then they can be commented on and rated by your friends as well as being used for "photo-battles", you can blog and set statuses etc. create pages and use the forums. It has an arcade, and of course various chat rooms. The only drawback to the site at the minute is that it is relatively new compared to sites like chatterbox so it does not have a large number of active members yet, but the site itself is great so I am sure that will change soon.

Try http://simplyukchat.forumotion.co.uk it's a brand new site with forums and 2 chat rooms, a few users from UKCB have joined but we are still looking for new members and other users from UKCB.
This site has been created in the hope that users from UKCB can reunite with online friends from UKCB, so come and take a look
