I want to talk to my crush on facebook, but don't know how? - Jenna Marie - 12-11-2012 12:08 PM

I've liked this one kid in my gym class ever since the beginning of the school year. He's really cute and seems pretty quiet and introverted, which is just my type. I did some facebook "stalking" (although if it's on the internet it really isn't!) and found out we have a decent amount in common. We both like this one band that isn't well known, we both enjoy reading and writing, and we are both Agnostics who tend to not believe or disbelieve in any religions, and we're both fans of the Hunger Games!

I've never talked to him before because our gym class has about 300 students in it, but I found out that we are going to be in the same Driver Eds class starting tomorrow. I decided that this might give me the opportunity to send him a friend request. I'm guessing he'll say yes, because we have over 100 mutal friends and I'm getting pretty close to his closest girl friend (who has a boyfriend).

If he does accept it, how should I talk to him on facebook? Should I just say "hi", or ask him a question? I'm pretty awkward when it comes to social interactions but I definitely want to get to know him! He seems like such a nice kid and I don't want to chicken out like I always do. Any ideas?

Also, my new friend that I'm getting closer to is really close with him. Do you think I should tell her I like him and see if she can do some "introductions" or anything? And please don't think I"m using her! She is such a great person and I want to be her friend, whether or not things work out with me and him. It just happens to be fortunate that they know each other.

Any advice would make me very happy!

Just be yourself, don't be all too personal (I personally find it weird when girls are all "hey buddy wat u doing 2day at school whens ur study") But, if its a normal conversation, such as "How are you" or simple things like that, then that would be good, then develop a relationship over time, and you never know.

Just say hi and if you want a conversation started say "I heard your gonna be in y drivers Ed class, that's gonna be exciting right!? (:"
