So my friends and I bought this like 2 foot tall 30 pound porcelain cat and had it on their porch, we took a picture of it that day and put it on facebook.
A few weeks ago it went missing, and a few days later my friend saw the cat at a party and took it back. We put it inside, then someone BROKE into their house and took it. I saw it at the SAME house a few days later.
We want our fucking cat back, can we have the police come in and take it back for us?

You could try. However, the people who stole it could claim that they bought the cat from you. Since you didn't call the police when it disappeared, it would be hard to prove them wrong.
