Is there a way to turn off showing other people what I like on facebook?

Say I like a person but I don't want others to see my like how do I hide it? Because to comment on that person's fan page I must like it, but then everyone will see I like it. So how do I hide my likes?

you cant. what you could do is like it and then go to your profile and remove the like.

You could just go to your profile after liking whatever page you liked and hover over where it says "Amund liked Yahoo Answers.com" and press the X which will appear to the right of the statement.
