He lied to his wife, but why? - K - 12-13-2012 04:48 AM

I had a question a couple weeks ago about my friend's dad (42..I'm 19) where I got 38 answers saying he's sexually attracted to me.

I have another question: me, him, and his wife play a Facebook game called "Nightclub City." A couple months ago, he started "buying" me drinks on there. At first I was weirded out, but I just figured it's a game so it doesn't matter. After some time, he kept "buying" me more drinks and eventually started "winking" at me on there. We've been going back and forth with it for months now and he's even gone as far as 23 notifications on there.

Today, I was over at their house and his wife was sitting there waiting to get online. For some reason, he was checking his Nightclub City when she was right there. It seems that was the first time she ever saw the notifications I left him, even though we've been doing it for months. I acted like I wasn't paying attention, but I heard him tell her that I send them to him, so he just sends them back and he jokingly referred to me as an "alcoholic" LOL.

Anyways, why do you think he lied? He's the one who started sending them to me and even sent the first "wink" to me.
JoGusto-No, definitely 19. I guess I know the answer, but I just wanted others' opinion. Think about it, don't most people on here know the answer to their questions, but ask them anyway?
For the record, their marriage is really bad. They argue all the time and she rarely gives him "any". The wife is very open with me and her daughter about their marriage. Point is, they're not happy together, but they stay together for the kids.

liars lie because they are liars.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

seriously, i know you are young, but show some respect. you could be that woman some day.

it's all a little too obvious, my friend. there's two choices: he wants to get to know his child's friend better, but doesn't want his wife to overreact, OR he is interested in you. If i were you, I'd stop playing that game before it got serious. i sense big time drama here.

Probably because he's immature. Who else would live in a dream world internet game?

My opinion is that he wants to mess around and he lied to her about you being an alcoholic so it looks like you are all to blame your and his contact. He probley told her he can't get you to stop bothering him.If he lies to her he will probley lie to you too.Be careful.Deborah.

He lied because he really wants to boink you and he needs to cover up the overwhelming lust he feels for you, lest his wife figure out what thoughts are in his head. It's really hard to keep that kind of desire under wraps. You must be totally hot, or maybe his wife is just boring the heck out of him.

In any case, you sound much younger than 19, if you don't already know the answer to your own question.

To Cover up HIS Wrong-doings .
& I think you & him are dumb for allowing this to happen on a " Little Game "
GROW UP & Do some grown woman things like : Get your nails done, Mingle with friends whom don't have the nightclub city game & as well as their partners (:

Whatever he feels or doesn't feel for you the guy is married and is your friends dad, and is not a good idea, so just cut any communication you have with him outside of popping in to see his daughter, I would even limit that.

It my have started as a game but have you ever stopped and think what the consequence is for what you and his lies does to HER marriage. think about how would you feel if the shoe was on the other foot
