im new to twitter and im wondering how to put twitters on other peoples profiles and talk to people on there...any information?? and is there anything else that i should know about twitter.com?

the only way you can send somebody something on twitter is if they are following you and you are following them. other than that there is no way to message them

You can either Direct Message people (but you have to be following them and they have to be following you) or you can reply to them. To reply, you put an @ and their username and say what ever you want.
For example: type, "@aplusk Hello, how are you?" into the text box, them click the button that says "reply."
This is generally called an "@reply". Even if the person you @reply to isn't following you, they can still get your message if they view their @replys.
To view your own @replys, on the right hand of your twitter homepage, there is a button that says "@(your twitter name here)". Click this, and you will be able to see all of the people and messages that have been @replied to you.
This is kind of hard to explain.... I hope it makes sense and helps!
