How do I remove applications from the tool bar? Right click does not work, it opens the app.? - kheimsc - 12-13-2012 10:47 AM

When I upgraded to Explorer 8 the new tool bar appeared with preset applications like MySpace and Facebook. I don't use these and want the icons removed from the tool bar, but right click and delete doesn't work it opens the application. How do I remove them?

Click the gear icon at the far right of the Yahoo! Toolbar. Select "Edit Your Apps" and follow the instructions on the page that displays.

You should be signed in to Yahoo! when you do this. On some browsers, the Y! Toolbar will revert to a default set of buttons when you sign out of Yahoo!. It also depends on how the "Save my Yahoo! Toolbar layout and settings..." option is set. You can find this by clicking on the gear icon at the right side of the Y! Toolbar and selecting "Toolbar Preferences".
