How do you get facebook app on my ipod touch? when I touch the free button on the ipod, I get the following: Application Not Compatible, this application requires the iPhone 3.0 Software Update. What does that mean? I am trying to use the iPod, not the iPhone.

update ur ipod touch and download the app from appstore. easy as 1 2 3 4 5. nothing much you can do

There is a free app for Facebook on the iTunes store for the ipod/iphone.

you have to update your ipod to the current software. plug it into itunes and click "check for updates"

*Plug your iPod into the computer
*Open iTunes.
*Choose your iPod on the left side of iTunes.
*Click update.
*Wait for iTunes to finish downloading the update. (could take up to an hour)
*Wait for the update to finish updating your iPod (don't unplug your iPod)
*Your iPod Touch will be updated to 3.1.3 or 4.1 depending on what model.
*Download Facebook for iPhone
*Enjoy
