Its a virus.
All of my friends went crazy about it, adding the application and then tagging their friends in the pictures.
I added it and was also tagged in a lot of pictures and my facebook started going dodgy a couple of days later.
i.e. when I refresh the ohomepage the status (live feed) would go back like 3 days. So I was seeing status updates that were there 3 days ago.
So i un-tagged myself and deleted the application and now my facebook works fine. Delete the application before things start happening to your facebook.
