i googles it and it said that its because people have their accounts on private but i have my own account on private and ive been retweeted by others who are following me? and one of my friends i asked her why she couldnt be reweeted and she said that other people have retweeted her, iver retweeted her in the past as well?

That's the glitch on Twitter. Make sure to clean up/restart your computer/browser. Otherwise, wait for awhile.
