Can we have a party that supports both gay marriage and free market economics? - Hob - 12-15-2012 02:46 AM

I hate that you have to take the liberal economics along with the liberal social policies or you have to take the social conservative polices along with the conservative economic policies. The two have nothing to do with each other but you have to take them in one of these package deals.
@Trumpet Warrior: So basically you can choose to participate in this party that will never get covered by Fox, CNN, or MSNBC and has no chance. Or you could just not participate at all.

Libertarian

That would be a very small party, more like a group.

That would be the Libertarian party. They also believe in legalization of all drugs and isolationism.

If you're asking rhetorically, you won't get an answer you like.

If you're asking realistically, the party exists and got 1% of the popular vote in 2012. C-SPAN and Youtube both aired third-party debates. It is up to you as an informed voter to seek out alternatives to the two-party oligarchy.

The libertarian party is covered by Fox News all the time. It has shows called Stossel and Red Eye that feature it.
