The little sims game on facebook is really fun but the little music they play constantly is very annoying, is there any way to turn it off besides muting everything?

Even though some Facebook applications may be useful or fun, these applications can access information from your profile, pollute your status updates and notifications and clutter your social networking environment. You can put an end to a pesky application by blocking it from your Facebook account's privacy controls. A blocked application cannot disturb you.

Open your browser and log into your Facebook account at facebook.com.

Enter the name of the application you would like to block in the "Search" bar at the top-right of the browser window.

Click the "See more results" option in the drop-down menu.

Select "View Application." This option is directly to the right of the application's name in the search result listing.

Click "Block Application" to block the application from communicating with your account.
