Facebook Notification help? - miss understood - 12-16-2012 09:59 AM
So I use applications on FB like Mafia Wars, Farmville, etc. And I keep getting all these updates on my FB homepage that are mostly from people I don't know and/or pertain to an application. I would like to get rid of these and only have my friends updates/news on there. How do I do that?I don't want to get a notification at the top of my screen if it is from a game.
(I tried changing the account and application settings but it only helps for e-mail)

try this:
account --> account settings --> notifications --> go down and click on 'other apps' --> uncheck any of them you don't want to get notifications from
