Its just my dad has followed me on twitter and i dont want to block him as that would be rude. So can you privatise twitter tweets and how?

yes you can. login your account go to settings and in the account information scroll down and there is a check box that asks to make tweets private. click it then click save. put in your password and there you go. the only people that can read your tweets are people you allow to follow your account. btw if you go private then you have to approve people to follow you. if you want to send a private message to a person then that's direct message aka DM. just go to the tab above on the right click go to dms and do it there. i hope i was of help.

ys u can but he will see it when it was written but he can't browse ur other tweets u know what i mean
anyway what i think that it will help u just enter at twitter then settings then protect my tweets hope it help and sry for bad english

You can only private your whole account - so people have to request to follow you , no one can re-tweet you and only your followers can see what you tweet, there is no way to make certain tweets etc private like you can on facebook. you can do this by going to settings under your account.

you can by going to the setting and making your profile private but as he already follows you, you would still have to block him for him to not be able to see your tweets
