Does adding many facebook applications harm your computer? - Jbay - 12-16-2012 10:24 PM

Does it use up memory? What all happens when you add one? Is there any reason not to add an application?

no it harms nothing! its not downloaded to your computer.

The only reason to not add an application is it will clog up your space and then people will have trouble navigating your page. Try to avoid applications that nobody uses because it will become a nuisance to other people. There's nothing worse than trying to find someones wall through 30 pages of applications.

Like with what Daniel said, don't keep the apps that you don't use frequently. If someone has so many applications it takes a long time to get it all set-up on the person's profile. This then slows down your computer a lot because it's using so much of it's energy getting everything loaded onto the page for you to see. Just closing your webpage or going back slows it down even more. But anyway no, applications does not harm your computer. All of the applications are pretty much screened by Facebook before being allowed to become an app. Hope this helps a little more.
