I tried to deactivate my account on Facebook, but it said this, "Unable to deactivate your account because you are the only developer of a Platform application. Please either delete the application or assign a new owner before deactivating your account."...what the heck is a platform application?

WOW, sounds great. Did you design a new app? If so, you should ask for copyright.
