I recieved a direct message from one of my Japanese followers on Twitter, but he wrote completely in Japanese. Now, I can somewhat figure it's a sort of 'thank-you or your welcome' kinda thing, but I want to make sure from someone more fluent or knowledgeable in Japanese. Part of meeting someone and have even been told that literally it means along the lines of "Please look after/care for me and/or our relationship." The last part is basically "please". The first part, well, the first person would use the middle and last part in starting the exchange. The first part is kinda' like saying "No, thank YOU", meaning "No, I should be the one asking you to do that." - Giogio - 12-17-2012 01:50 PM "こちらこそ" is a stiff expression that means almost like "(me) too." "よろしく願います" is "Thank you in advance / Thank you for your consideration." If you say こちらこそよろしく願います in English, stressing "you" like "Thank YOU in advance, too"
