Especially if you are expecting something very important. like "So and so posted on some group you joined years ago". or "So and so is inviting you to some stupid even halfway across the world", or "So and so has invited you to play some stupid facebook game" or "So and so has sent you junk from some stupid game" Like Farmville, restaurant city, mafia wars, cityville. Yeah, it gets annoying when you are expecting something important.
