i have the sidekick lx (not the new one coming out wirh 3G). the 3G one is rumored to have a facebook application. will this application be available for the original sidekick lx?

The new lx coming out this month has Facebook/Myspace/Twitter applications that come pre-set in the phone, but they won't be made available to any of the other sidekick models...
At least, that's what my friend just told me - they work for Tmobile, but who knows, maybe there will be an application miracle!
