i want to make a facebook, how does it work? are there forums? if not, how do u meet new people?

you have to figure out a way to steal social security numbers and applying for business loans on your users behalf for your website. thats pretty much how facebook works

It's basically a social networking tool. Most people that join facebook do it to share pictures and what they're up to. I have a little over 200 'friends' on there. They are mostly family, coworkers, and people I knew in college. It's a great way to reconnect with people!

Well, facebook is a social networking system. You could add people you know, "like" pages, or even play games like Restaurant City or Country Story. You could comment on people's stats, or photos. You could tag yourself into a photo, or tag other people into it (the photo, that is.) You could write notes and tag people who you think are worth it.
In order to find people, you just type their name into a search box, then you send "Add as friend." If they decide to add you, you get a notification. If they don't accept you as a friend, you will see "Add as friend" again, next to their default.
Ohh. I forgot something. You could also poke people on Facebook & have a poke war. (:
